Welcome to the Appeals Commission for Teachers(ACT) of the Republic of Korea.

As well known, Korea has achieved rapid educational and economic development over a relatively short period, often referred to as "the miracle of the Han River," thanks to its continued heavy investment in education.

As a part of such educational development, the Appeals Commission for Teachers was established under the important goal of protecting teachers' rights through fair deliberations.
The Commission is responsible for hearing appeals filed against teacher disciplinary actions and adverse decisions, as well as central complaints raised by educational civil servants.

By providing accurate information on appeals procedures and receiving online appeals and central complaints on the Korean homepage, the Commission strives to support teachers who have received unfair disciplinary decisions.

The entire staff at the Commission is committed to providing timely and adequate service for teachers in need, ultimately contributing to the further advancement of Korean education.

Through this online site, the Commission invites all teachers and faculty members, including foreign educators, to kindly provide feedback and advice at webmaster@mest.go.kr.

Thank you.
