1. Who may file an appeal?
Teachers and professors at all national, public and private pre-primary, primary, middle and high schools, and universities and colleges, as listed in related laws.
2. In which case can a decision be appealed?
An appeal can be made when an appellant wishes to challenge a disciplinary action that s/he regards unfair.
   - Disciplinary actions: dismissal, discharge, suspension, salary reduction, reprimand
   - Other disadvantageous actions that are against the appellant's intention
     ¡¤ Non-renewal of employment, dismissal or demotion from position, revocation of position and/or suspension,
       etc.
   - Others : transfer, change of department, salary reduction, ban on class instruction, dismissal, refusal to      correct salary classes, refusal for voluntary early retirement, cancelation of appointment, and other illegal or
     unjust cases
3. How and when should the appeal be made?
An appeal must be submitted to the Appeals Commission for Teachers within 30 days from the date of disciplinary action either in person, by mail, by fax, or through online registration. No appeal will be accepted after 30 days from the date of the disciplinary action.
